rag & bone x Timberland

rag & bone has teamed up with Timberland Boat Company to release a new collection of boots for the Fall/Winter 2010 season.

Timberland Boot Company and rag & bone share a design philosophy rooted in quality, craftsmanship and attention to detail. Constructions and material choices are historically anchored in the first half of the 20th century and reflect the aesthetic and fundamentals of classic work wear. The boots are simple, yet tailor-made in appearance. Exquisitely burnished leathers and distinct fine lines suggest a life of purpose, transformed through time from life experiences and natural exposure to the elements.

The collection features three styles - Tackhead 8” Zip Chelsea Boot; Tackhead 7” Lace Up Boot; and Tackhead Boat Chukka - with multiple models in each style. The boots are set to debut today at Project Las Vegas and will be available at both Timberland shops as well as rag & bone boutiques in the Fall.

The boots are classically inspired, look sturdy as hell and are perfect for tree-cutting in the woods or walking through the city streets. I think the best part is how timeless they are. You can wear them next year, put them in your closet for 10 years and they won't look out-of-fashion. I hope these two brands hook up more often if they'll create stuff like this.
