Friday evening, my boy Alex and I trekked down to Queen West to attend the opening of Big It Up's new flagship store, Brimz. The store is located at 321 Queen St. West (just west of MuchMusic) and features a nice collection of hats for both guys and gals. Although fairly small - as most Downtown shops are - the store is extremely well-stocked with fedoras, flat caps, brasstros, driving caps, toques and straw hats. Essentially, they have headwear for any and all occasions. And just as you'd expect from any good independent Toronto shop, the employees were extremely warm and inviting, and were really receptive to us loafting around a bit while snapping shots of their new place. It was great to be there in support of good people doing good work. Be sure to check it out next time you're downtown.
