The NBA has hooked up with adidas to create some soccer-inspired jerseys and track jackets right in time for upcoming World Cup in South Africa. The collection features some of the league's more famous teams, including the Chicago Bulls, the Los Angeles Lakers and the Boston Celtics. The premise is that soccer and basketball are the most prominent team sports around the world and the collection "celebrates NBA team pride and showcases soccer’s tradition and style". I'm ok with the jerseys, but I'm so down for the track jackets. All in all, the release is super fresh and is available now at the online NBA store.
